You are very important to us and we want to stay connected! During this unprecedented time, we have created NEW ways to engage with our visitors, members and community.
Virtual keeper chats
We want to continue connecting you to the animals you love through educational videos. Join us for a Facebook LIVE Virtual Keeper Chat on Mondays and Tuesdays at 11:00am, where you can spend time with our keeper staff and animals, ask questions and learn from home.
Check out our YouTube channel to view each Virtual Chat, plus many more videos!
We believe every child’s birthday should be special, no matter where they are! Schedule a Virtual Birthday Party with the Zoo for you and as many guests as you would like. We will make the invites and set-up the Zoom video link; all you have to do is send them to your guests, and the party is ON(line)! During your 40 minute party our educator will lead the group in an at-home craft, introduce the group to the animal guest of your choice and of course sing Happy Birthday with a dance party!

Virtual field trips
An innovative and unique way for students to interact in real time with animals and staff at the BPZOO without leaving the house! Virtual Field Trips are interactive, multimedia, and employ the use of live animals, live exhibit footage and/or Science On a Sphere® demonstrations to provide real world context to science lessons.
Our new Virtual ZooCrew programs are recommended for ages 5-10 years old or 11-15 years old, as specified next to each session’s title. Each week of camp will feature daily Zoom calls from 10:00 am to 10:45 am, jam packed with live animal encounters, activities, and crafts, followed by a suggested activity for later in the day.
A baby red panda!?
On June 4th, the BPZOO welcomed the first red panda cub to be born here in its 126 year history!
Congratulations to first time parents - Marie and Jacob
