Our Commitment to You During COVID-19
Here at Buttonwood Park Zoo, the health and safety of our guests, volunteers, staff and animals are of the utmost importance. We are closely monitoring the ever-changing situation surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are following guidelines provided by the CDC along with directives issued by the City of New Bedford, World Health Organization and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
Where do we stand?
BPZOO will be closed until further notice. Please check the BPZOO’s website and social media pages for updates.
What about our animals?
We care deeply about our animals — and we know you do, too! Our animals continue to receive exceptional care by our dedicated professional animal care staff and are doing well. We remain in touch with our state, national and international veterinary networks and are closely monitoring updates. Our staff is prepared for contingencies, and scrutinizing our supply chain, to ensure essentials for our animals remain on hand.
