At Buttonwood Park Zoo, we think grandparents are special. That's why we're honoring grandparents on National Grandparent's Day this Sunday, September 9th with free admission with a paying grandchild and special memory-making activities.

With over a hundred years of history, many memories have been made at Buttonwood Park Zoo. We invite our senior guests to share their memories with us and with their families while making new memories on National Grandparent's Day. Both young and old will be asked to share their zoo memories on paper, either writing or drawing their favorite zoo story. Families are also invited to bring a camera to take advantage of a special National Grandparent's Day photo opportunity.
